It's time to get down to business.
Not that preseason isn't business, but now the Devils are looking toward games that count in the standings. The club is just four days away from opening its season in Philadelphia against the Flyers on Thursday, with the NHL regular season officially kicking off on Tuesday night.
With the 5-2-0 preseason behind them, the club was back at practice earlier today.

Tomas Tatar on the preseason coming to a close and looking forward to what's next:
"These last days of camp are always the hardest. It was great to get the win Boston, you know they played almost a full lineup as well. I know they were missing some guys, but so did we. It's starting to look like more closer to the season start. I think we're all excited, we have a few days to have a good time, fix a few problems we have, correct them and try to be as sharp as possible for the season's start."
