The Devils had a special visitor at Prudential Center for Game 2, former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning. He's been to plenty of post-season NFL games but the Devils - Rangers Game 2 was Manning's first live playoff hockey game.

With two Super Bowl Championships and a pair of Super Bowl MVP titles, the former QB provided some insight into what a home crowd's energy can provide to a team playing a post-season game.
"There's such an advantage being at home," Manning explained. "The energy, the crowd just getting everybody fired up so they can definitely play a part. And just bringing that energy right from the get go right when that puck's dropped, and being loud, cheering all the time. So hopefully Devils get off to a fast start and it can be a great game."
Going to hockey games is part of Manning's life now as a proud hockey dad. He discussed sharing a love of sports with his daughters as they try eveyrthing from hockey to lacrosse.

"Seeing their sports and finding out what they love," Manning said was the most meaningful part of sharing sports with his daughters. "I played baseball, basketball growing up and love those sports. So seeing my kids pick different sports - it's lacrosse and hockey - sports I never played, I don't know anything about, but they're growing and excelling in it. So just to root them on, be a part of it, and see them smiling and having fun with their friends, that's what it's all about."
