Ahead of the Devils first game since Dec. 19, New Jersey held a final practice in Newark before flying to Buffalo. The Devils face the Sabres Wednesday night at 7 p.m. ET. You can watch on MSG+ 2 or listen on the Devils Hockey Network.
Throughout the last few practices, the team has focused on different areas of their game in preparation of starting the second half of the season strong. On Sunday, New Jersey worked on getting their feet under them and back to a good pace following several days off. Monday, intensity stepped up as the team focused on special teams, battles, and one-on-one drills.
Tuesday's practice went through a variety of drills, including odd man rushes and 45 second shifts of scrimmage action. The practice ended with some time focused on special teams.
