The Devils are practicing at the RWJBarnabas Health Hockey House inside Prudential Center on Friday afternoon. The club will head to Long Island to face the Islanders on Saturday night.

Allen on the opener win: “It was an exciting game for our group and the fans as well. We wanted to put our best foot forward, first game in front of our fans here at Prudential. I was proud of the guys. It’s easy to come out and be a bit hesitant in the first game and get your feet wet, but the guys jumped right in. it was fun to watch from my end. Their goalie played very well and kept the game very tight. You have to give credit to our group. Kept with it and found a way.”

He Said It 2:

Dillon on the opening two games of the season being against Metro teams: "To have the first two games being interdivision, Philly had their way with us last year and going to the Islanders as well, we have to be prepared for their best as well."
