The highlight videos of all five goals were played on the jumbotron during the intermission before 15,204 fans at Prudential Center, but it was Trinity Hall's Adriana Crepaldi who received the #1 vote for the top goal of the month. On Saturday, January 19, the High School Players of the Month were invited out to the Devils home game against the Anaheim Ducks where they met with Devils forward Jesper Bratt prior to puck drop. Each player was awarded with a personalized certificate to commemorate the honor.
The New Jersey Devils High School Players of the Month Program presented by RWJBarnabas Health continues during the 2018-19 season, marking the 27th season that the Devils are honoring high school student-athletes. It was announced on January 14, 2019 that the nine players named for December 2018 were Matt Schoer (Pope John XXIII), Luke Joyce (Lakeland), Aidan Trainor (Princeton), Jack Bokun (Vernon), Jude Kurtas (Hillsborough), Mike Franzoni and Matt Franzoni (Manasquan/Point Pleasant Beach), and Leah Rubinshteyn (Summit).
