The National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils will open their 41st season on Thursday, October 12, when they host the Detroit Red Wings at 7:00pm at Prudential Center. The Devils open their road schedule against the New York Islanders on Friday, October 20 at 7:30pm.

The Devils' home schedule includes 19 weekend dates, an increase from 17 last year: six Friday games, nine Saturday matches and four Sunday contests. There are also seven Thursday tilts on the calendar.

The team will host games the two days following Thanksgiving (Fri., Nov. 24 vs. Columbus, 3:00pm & Sat., Nov. 25 vs. Buffalo, 7:00pm) and the days before and after the NHL Holiday Break (Sat., Dec. 23 vs. Detroit, 7:00pm & Wed. Dec. 27, vs. Columbus, 7:00pm). The NHL Holiday break games are at the end of a season-high five-game home stretch in Jersey: December 17-27. The regular-season finale will be at home on Monday, Apr. 15 versus the Islanders.

The Devils have 16 sets of back-to-back games on the calendar- four home/home, three home/road, four road/home and five road/road.

New Jersey's schedule away from "The Rock" includes three season-high four-game road trips: November 2-7 (at Min., StL., Chi., Col.), December 5-10 (at Van., Sea., Cgy., Edm.) and March 11-17 (at NYR, Dal., Ari., VGK).

The team also has two three-game road trips: February 27-March 3 (at SJ, Ana., LA) and March 24-29 (at NYI, Tor., Buf.). The team concludes the road portion of its schedule on Sat., Apr. 13, at Philadelphia.

All Devils home games will have a 7:00pm start time except for: Feb. 24 vs. Mtl. & Mar. 9 vs. Car. (12:30pm); Feb. 25 vs. TB (1:00pm); Oct. 29 vs. Min. (5:00pm); Oct. 25 vs. Wsh. & Dec. 13 vs. Bos. (7:30pm); Nov. 24 vs. CBJ & Feb. 17 vs. Phi. (8:00pm)

The NHL has previously announced that the Devils will participate in the 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Seriesat MetLife Stadium, the home of the NFL's New York Jets and New York Football Giants. The Devils host the Philadelphia Flyers on February 17 at 8:00pm which will mark the first time an outdoor NHL game will take place in New Jersey.

MSG Networks is the television home of the New Jersey Devils with game broadcasts and exclusive pre and postgame coverage. Devils' coverage will also be available on MSG+, MSG's state-of-the-art streaming service that allows New Jersey / New York area fans to access Devils games on their favorite devices. The full television broadcast schedule will be announced at a later date. Fans can also listen to the Devils Hockey Network for every Devils game this season plus exclusive pre and post-game coverage.

ESPN, Turner Sports, Sportsnet and TVA Sports are the NHL's national broadcast partners for the 2023-24 season and will provide comprehensive coverage throughout the season. Complete broadcast details will be announced when available.

26 games vs. Metropolitan Division opposition:

24 matches vs. Atlantic Division teams: three games vs. each team:

32 games vs. the 16 Western Conference clubs (one home and one road)

The League's regular-season schedule will pause from Feb. 1-4 when the world's top players gather in Toronto for NHL All-Star Weekend at Scotiabank Arena, which will include the 2024 NHL All-Star Skills™ presented by DraftKings and the 2024 Honda (U.S.) / Rogers (Canada) NHL All-Star Game.
