A question that Devils head coach Lindy Ruff has received often since taking the helm of bench boss is who will be the captain of the team. That question still doesn't have an answer.
"We haven't spent much time talking about a captain short term," Ruff stated. "What we've talked about is getting off to a great start. I'm trying to get a real good handle on the guys, getting to know them personally. We have a lot of good qualities in a lot of good players. It'll come up when the time gets there."
