CANUCKS VS BLUES PREVIEW: (TV: Hockey Night In Canada; Radio: Sportsnet 650)

The Vancouver Canucks face off against the St. Louis Blues for the first of three meetings this season. The Blues visit Rogers Arena again on Dec. 23 and the two teams conclude the season series at the Scottrade Center on Mar. 23.

Vancouver is 5-5-0 in their last 10 games against St. Louis.

To date, Vancouver is 4-5-1 against teams from the Western Conference (1-1-1 versus teams from the Central Division).

Tonight's game is the second and final of a 2-game home stand. The Canucks embark on a 6-game road trip starting in Philadelphia on Tuesday.

CANUCKS VS GOLDEN KNIGHTS PREVIEW:

The Vancouver Canucks face off against the Vegas Golden Knights for the first of four meetings this season. The Canucks visit Las Vegas on Feb. 23 and Mar. 20. The two teams meet again at Rogers Arena in the series finale on Apr. 3.

To date, Vancouver is 4-4-1 against teams from the Western Conference (3-3-0 versus teams from the Pacific Division).

According to Elias Sports, Vancouver is 9-7-1 all-time against expansion teams in their first ever meeting (beginning with the Atlanta Flames and New York Islanders in 1972.73).

Tonight's game is the first of a 2-game home stand that concludes with a visit from St. Louis (Nov. 18).

The Vancouver Canucks face off against the Los Angeles Kings for the first of four meetings this season.

The Canucks visit Los Angeles again in the series finale on Mar. 12. The two teams meet at Rogers Arena on Dec. 30 and Jan. 23.

Vancouver is 5-3-2 in their last 10 games against Los Angeles.

Tonight's game is the final game of a 4-game road trip (1-2-0 record to date). The Canucks open a 2-game home stand following tonight's game that sees visits from Vegas (Nov. 16) and St. Louis (Nov. 18).

The Canucks visit San Jose again on Dec. 21 and Feb. 15 and the two teams meet at Rogers Arena on Dec. 15 and in the series finale on Mar. 17.

Vancouver is 2-8-0 in their last 10 games against San Jose. The Canucks last victory at the SAP Center occurred on Mar. 31/16 (4-2). Tonight's game is the third game of a 4-game road trip that concludes with a visit to Los Angeles (Nov. 14).

Here I was thinking Tony Stark was Ironman.  

The true Ironman goes by the name of Doug Jarvis, Canucks assistant coach, who never missed a game in his NHL career. He played for Montreal, Washington and Hartford for 964 games between Oct. 8, 1975 and Oct. 10, 1987.

The Vancouver Canucks face off against the Anaheim Ducks for the first of four meetings this season. The Canucks visit Anaheim again on Mar. 14 and the two teams meet at Rogers Arena on Jan. 2 and in the series finale on Mar. 27.

Vancouver is 5-5-0 in their last 10 games against Anaheim.

Tonight's game is the second game of a 4-game road trip that also sees stops in San Jose (Nov. 11) and Los Angeles (Nov. 14).

Tonight also marks Michael Del Zotto's 500th career game. He'll become the eighth defenceman taken in the 2008 NHL Draft to appear in 500 games.
