The Canucks claimed forward Travis Boyd (3-5-8 in 20 GP this season) off waivers from the Toronto Maple Leafs on Mar. 22/21, just five days after claiming forward Jimmy Vesey off waivers from Toronto on Mar. 17/21. Vesey joined former US World Junior and Rangers teammate J.T. Miller upon his Canucks arrival, while Boyd will join former Capitals teammates Braden Holtby and Jay Beagle when he completes his NHL-mandated one-week quarantine.
