GATINEAU – Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes announced on Sunday that the team has agreed to terms on a four-year contract (2026-27 to 2029-30) with a $4.2 million AAV with forward Zachary Bolduc.
Bolduc appeared in 78 regular season games in his first season with the Canadiens in 2025-26, scoring 12 goals and adding 18 assists while serving 28 penalty minutes. Bolduc led all Montreal forwards with 170 hits, ranking second on the team behind defenseman Arber Xhekaj.
A native of Trois-Rivières, QC, Bolduc also dressed for the team’s 19 playoff games on the road to the Eastern Conference Final, producing seven points (3G, 4A), including the game-winning goal in the third game of the second round against the Buffalo Sabres. The 6-foot, 187 lb. winger ranked second on the team with 47 hits during the postseason.
Bolduc was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the first round (17th overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft.
