BROSSARD -- The Canadiens' rookies posted a 5-3 victory over the U Sports All-Stars on Tuesday afternoon at the Bell Sports Complex.

It was the final event on the 2021 Rookie Camp schedule.
Here are Tuesday's goal-scorers for Montreal:
Forward Joshua Roy, who was a fifth-round pick (150th overall) this past summer, tied the game 1-1 in the latter stages of the first period by converting a scoring chance down low.

Forward Mika Cyr scored the first of three Canadiens goals in the second period, burying a wrist shot from the slot for a short-handed tally to put Montreal ahead 2-1.

Forward Brenden Sirizzotti made it 3-1 for the home side when he was rewarded for a strong effort in close on the U Sports All-Stars netminder.

Forward Isiah Campbell upped the Canadiens' advantage to 4-1 for Montreal's final marker of the middle frame. That proved to be the game-winner.

The U Sports All-Stars cut the Canadiens' lead to 4-3 in the third period, but defenseman Kaiden Guhle added an empty-netter late in regulation to put the game out of reach.
