The Boston Bruins selected forward Curtis Hall with the 119th pick (fourth round) on Saturday afternoon at the 2018 NHL Entry Draft in Dallas.
"It was great," said Hall of the moment he heard his name called. "I was at my house and had my family and friends over and when it came up on the screen we all just went crazy. It's a really exciting moment for me and I'm so proud and honored to be selected by Boston."
The American-born skater believes he is a complete player on both ends of the ice.
"I'm a hard working two-way centerman," said Hall. "Coaches can rely on me in all areas of the game. I have offensive ability, but I can play really good defense as well. I'm a 200-foot forward."
