BOSTON - The NHL announced today, November 12, that forward David Pastrnak has been named the NHL's first star of the week for the week ending November 11.

The Bruins went 3-1-0 last week with Pastrnak leading the team in scoring, netting five goals and two assists for seven points in four games. Four of Pastrnak's five goals came on the man-advantage, giving him seven PPG on the season which is tied for first in the NHL with Winnipeg's Patrick Laine.
Pastrnak kicked off the week with a power play goal against the Dallas Stars on November 5 en route to the team's 2-1 OT win.
The 22-year-old Havirov, CZE native potted four points (3-1=4) against the Toronto Maple Leafs (W, 5-1) on November 10 including his second hat trick of the season. The hat trick marked his third of his career in the regular season.
Pastrnak capped off the week by netting two points (1-1=2) against the Vegas Golden Knights on November 11 with his goal coming on the power play.
Pastrnak's 16 goals leads NHL and is tied for fourth in the league in points with 23 (Wheeler - WPG, McDavid - EDM).
