BOSTON - The Boston Bruins will show their support for first responders and frontline workers by hosting First Responder and Frontline Worker Appreciation Night presented by National Grid on Thursday, March 11 during the Boston Bruins vs. New York Rangers game at TD Garden.

First responders and frontline workers will be celebrated throughout the game. Bruins anthem singer* Todd* Angilly will be singing the national anthem with the Chelsea Fire Department Color Guard.
The virtual puck drop will feature Boston Police Department Officer's Eumir Pena and Zachary Crossen, in addition to K9 Officer Stephen Doran and his K9 dog Sabre. Fans can submit their own videos for a chance to be featured as the Bruins Academy Virtual Puck Drop at

During First Responder and Frontline Worker Appreciation Night presented by National Grid, the Bruins are hosting the Saugus Fire Department on Zoom, where they will be cheering along and shown on NESN.
The Bruins also announced today the Stick Taps for Frontline Heroes program. The Boston Bruins will honor and recognize first responders and frontline workers of New England who have made a positive impact in their community this past year. Fans may nominate a first responder and/or frontline hero of their community to be recognized by the Boston Bruins and receive a personalized, autographed used stick from a Bruins player later this season. The Bruins will host the 5th annual BFIT Virtual Step Challenge powered by National Grid from March 22nd - 29th. This year's event invites first responders and community members from across the globe to participate in the weeklong step challenge, with all proceeds going to first responder and military charities.
