HUBWEEK:
The Boston Bruins Foundation will be participating in HUBweek from October 12 to October 15. HUBweek is a first-of-its-kind civic collaboration founded by The Boston Globe, Harvard University, MIT and Massachusetts General Hospital in which attendees will find the top innovators and ideas from Boston that will have an immediate impact on our future. During the event, the Boston Bruins Foundation will be highlighting our Green Up New England Challenge through an activated container and through a panel discussion on Sunday, October 23.
BRUINS ACADEMY PASS CLINIC PROGRAM:The Bruins Academy PASS (Partnership to Assist Skaters and Shooters) Clinic program powered by TD Bank is back for the 2017-2018 season! Each PASS Clinic is one hour long and is conducted by current Bruins players or alumni and members of the Boston Bruins Youth Hockey Development Team. Each clinic is open to 50 youth hockey players in the Squirt/U10 or Pee Wee/U12 age classifications. Each participant will receive a PASS jersey, gift bag, and two (2) tickets to an upcoming Boston Bruins home game. Additionally, TD Bank will present a $1,000 donation to the hosting youth hockey organization.

BFIT SCHOOL ASSEMBLY PROGRAM:Enter your school for the chance to win a 45-minute interactive BFit School Assembly run by Boston Bruins Foundation Director of Health, Fitness, and Wellness, John Whitesides, and the BFit Team. Each participating school will also receive a full set of free Boston Bruins Franklin street hockey gear to help continue the BFit initiative.

BRUINS ACADEMY THE SHOW:
The New England Emmy Award winning series is a fast-paced, educational, Black & Gold-themed program created for youth who love the game of hockey. One 30-minute episode will air each month on NESN, and the first ten episodes of this season can viewed on www.BostonBruins.com/BruinsAcademy and on the Bruins mobile app. In Episode 10, Bruce Cassidy travels to Patriots Training Camp, Ray Bourque remembers his playing days, and T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is highlighted.

BRUINS ACADEMY THE APP: Bruins Academy is part of the Bruins' ongoing mission to encourage positive youth development through the sport of hockey. To join the club, download the new mobile app designed specifically for kids called Bruins Academy presented by Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. The app has built-in safety features that provide a safe experience for kids to connect with each other and their favorite team. In the new Bruins Academy app, kids can explore exclusive team content, create their own avatar, learn educational tips, test their trivia skills, and participate in challenges.

BRUINS ACADEMY THE CURRICULUM:The Boston Bruins announced the launch of Bruins Academy The Curriculum, a collaboration with Autodesk Inc. Autodesk makes software for people who make things and in an effort to inspire and create the next generation of designers and innovators, the new free curriculum will be available to New England-based Kindergarten through 8th grade teachers. The engaging Common Core-aligned lesson plans help cultivate the students' creativity by casting students as designers for projects ranging from rethinking the fan experience to customizing hockey equipment.
Autodesk will also host two participating classrooms for a workshop at the Autodesk Boston BUILD (Building, Innovation, Learning and Design) Space. Teachers, parents and students in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Vermont can learn more about the program and sign up for Bruins Academy The Curriculum at their school by visiting BostonBruins.com/TheCurriculum.
BRUINS ACADEMY LEARN TO PLAY PROGRAM:
The program debuted in 2014 with just six locations and 300 participants, and has grown each year since. To date, over 2,000 local youth have participated in the Bruins Academy Learn to Play program. This year, $2,000,000 (retail value) worth of equipment will be dispersed throughout the community through this program. For a registration fee of $100, participants will receive a full set of CCM hockey equipment to keep valued at $500 retail, which includes skates, a professional fitting, and four weeks of on-ice instruction led by certified coaches and NHL Alumni. The Bruins Academy Learn to Play program has helped to increase hockey participation, and over 60% of the youth hockey players who participated in this program last year subsequently enrolled in organized hockey.
