Bally Sports Midwest to televise first Blues game Friday

Formerly FOX Sports Midwest, network has new brand and new look

by Bally Sports Midwest / Press Release

Bally Sports Midwest is here!

Formerly FOX Sports Midwest, the regional sports network will televise its first St. Louis Blues game under its new brand and new look Friday.

Here's what to look as the home of the Blues for more than 25 years unveils its new brand and new look:

New Name. Same Home.
Fans will find Bally Sports Midwest and its Blues telecasts (and more) at the same channel position they always have.

A bold new look
Bally Sports Midwest will have:

  • Bright new graphics, including a new score box that appears at the bottom of the screen and replaces the previous ticker. This placement enhances the space on screen for game action.
  • New pregame and postgame sets and desks.
  • New music, which can be heard here:

Voices of the game
The voices of the Blues will continue to call the action: John Kelly, Darren Pang, Bernie Federko, Scott Warmann, Erica Weston and Andy Strickland.

The first games on Bally Sports Midwest
The first live, local event on Bally Sports Midwest is the Cardinals' season opener at Cincinnati on Thursday at 3 p.m. The first Blues game on Bally Sports Midwest is Friday at 8 p.m. at Colorado, with Blues Live pregame starting at 7:30.
