Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog and his wife Melissa are proud ambassadors as is Altitude TV Play-By-Play Analyst for the Avalanche Marc Moser.
For this year's campaign - which began on Feb. 14 and will last until April 1 - KeyBank will match fan donations up to $10k.
Avalanche fans are encouraged to donate and three (3) fans who contribute will instantly win a $50 KeyBank gift card that they can pick up from Guest Relations at any point during the game. Every fan who donates will also be entered to win a grand prize. Fans who donate via social media will also be entered to the grand prize drawing after the campaign concludes.
The Avalanche will take on Dallas on April 1st, which will be KeyBank's Title Night, and another opportunity for fans to bring items for donations to the game and leave them in the bins at either of the main entrances.

How helpful is it to have the support already of ambassadors like Marc Moser and the Landeskog's and now the additional support of KeyBank?
A Precious Child was able to provide opportunities and resources to more than 57,000 children in need in 2022. This work would not have been possible without the immense support from amazing ambassadors such as Gabe and Melissa Landeskog and Marc Moser. Through their community efforts, volunteering and support, A Precious Child was able to reach more children in need than ever before! We are so thankful for KeyBank as we continue to serve children in need. As an Affiliate Level Pillar Partner of A Precious Child, KeyBank has helped us increase our services to 18.5% more children challenged by poverty, abuse, neglect or crisis situations last year alone.
How impactful can a fundraising campaign with this kind of reach be for A Precious Child? How do you hope to utilize the donations and resources for the amazing initiatives that A Precious Child deploys?
The need in the Denver Metro area is huge! More than 250,000 children live below the Colorado Self-Sufficiency standard in the 8-county Denver Metro service area that A Precious Child supports. This fundraising campaign will allow us to not only serve more vulnerable children in the community, but also spread awareness about the good work we are doing as an organization and how the community can get involved!
How can fans continue to get involved with A Precious Child/is there any other information that you'd like to provide?
A Precious Child is a true community organization. In 2022, more than 7,000 volunteers provided 42,900 hours worth of service to ensure the community and the children who need our support were served. Fans can get involved in a few ways:
· Volunteer! We need volunteers who can help sort and process donations, restock our store floor, check in families, help with our events, data entry, the list goes on! If you have a passion to serve, we have a spot for you! We love to include the whole family as well-we are able to welcome volunteers as young as 5 years old to come in with their family to help volunteer and give back to their community!
· Donate goods! We serve more than 35 families daily in our Resource Center with basic essentials such as clothing, shoes, coats, food and hygiene items. We accept gently used or new items so we can provide those needed items to families free of charge in a dignified setting!
· Donate monetarily! We are able to take monetary donations and put them directly into our programming to impact the lives of thousands of children in need.
