Who needs a board when you can just write on the boards?

Toronto Maple Leafs coach Mike Babcock wanted to show forward James van Riemsdyk something and he needed to do it quickly, because line changes happen fast.
Babcock had a marker in his hand but didn't bother grabbing a dry-erase board to illustrate his thoughts. He just drew it right there on the railing of the visitng bench area of Bell Centre.
Well, wherever he drew it up, it seemed to work as van Riemsdyk scored in the third period of a 6-0 win against the Montreal Canadiens.
The strategy session may, however, cost the coach a can of red paint.
