Special Guests

There’s some special guests on this back-to-back road trip, the player’s moms! This year’s mentors trip has brought the best hockey moms on a trip to California. It’s an exciting experience for everyone.

“It’s cool, it’s awesome,” Mikhail Sergachev said of the experience. “She feels what we feel like every day, it’s awesome. I want to show her the way we do things here … It’s cool. They get to go to Disney, a winery, so it’s going to be a fun experience for them.”

“It's awesome,” Barrett Hayton shared on the Moms Trip. “For us living in it every day, you don't think too much about it but growing up and with them always being around your hockey and then I guess, ten years later, they get to kind of see what it looks like now. It's just fun to share that time together and I think that's something they really enjoy. We're thankful to have them and thankful the team puts it on. It's got a special itinerary and it's going to be fun.”

Focusing In

The Mammoth are looking to get back into the win column and play their game consistently against the Ducks tonight.

“Probably better execution all around,” Sergachev said of the focus going into tonight. “Being mentally focused and mentally there. Sometimes in the game, you'll have downs and you won't be as focused but it's just overall the 60-minute feel that we need to produce."

Scouting the Ducks

Head coach André Tourigny discussed what he’s seen out of the Ducks this season ahead of tonight’s game.

“They play with a lot of confidence,” Tourigny explained. “They’re competitive in battles. We knew they were coming. They’re so talented, they have a lot of really good players, so now they’re maturing, they’re older, they have good veterans … they’re tough to play against.”
