Benny and the Jets

The Dallas Stars travel to Bell MTS Place to face the Winnipeg Jets on Monday night for the fourth and final game during the 2018-19 season series. Dallas is 2-1-0 this season against Winnipeg, posting a 2-0-0 record on home ice and a 0-1-0 road record. In three games vs. Winnipeg, center Tyler Seguin leads all Stars skaters with seven points (3-4=7). On special teams, the Stars are 6-for-15 (40%) and 11-of-12 (91.7%) on the penalty kill. In the most recent game between the two clubs, Dallas defeated Winnipeg, 4-2, on Jan. 19 at American Airlines Center. Seguin recorded a goal and an assist (1-1=2) and defensemen John Klingberg (0-2=2) and Esa Lindell (0-2=2) each added two assists. Goaltender Ben Bishop turned aside 27 of the 29 shots he faced. On special teams, the Stars were 2-for-7 (28.6%) on the power play and a perfect 6-for-6 (100%) on the penalty kill. The Stars are looking to end a six-game road losing streak (0-6-0) against the Jets and record their first win at Bell MTS Place since Feb. 23, 2016 (W, 5-3). Winnipeg defeated Dallas, 5-1, on Jan. 6 in the first game of the 2018-19 season series in Winnipeg. Forward Alexander Radulov potted the lone goal (1-0=1) for the Stars.

Tyler the Creator

Center Tyler Seguin potted a goal (1-0=1) against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night and has goals in back-to-back contests (2-0=2) and points in seven of his last nine games (2-9=11). Seguin has tallied 37 points (18-19=37) over 35 games since the start of 2019, and is tied for the 12th-most goals in the NHL over that span. Seguin paces the Stars with 71 points (29-42=71) in 75 games this season, while also ranking first on the club in goals and assists. Since he joined the Stars in 2013-14, Seguin is one of only two players in the NHL to have reached the 70 point plateau in each of the last six seasons, joining Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby. Since the franchise relocated to Winnipeg for the 2011-12 NHL season, Seguin has registered 40 points (21-19=40) over his 35 games against the Jets. He ranks first among all NHL players in points (40), goals (21) and assists (19) vs. Winnipeg over that span. He has points in 15 of his last 18 games against the Jets (12-13=25) with points in 20 of 25 career contests (19-17=36) against Winnipeg as a member of the Dallas Stars. The forward's 40 points (21-19=40) vs. the Jets franchise are his highest point and goal total against any NHL club. At Bell MTS Place, he has inked the scoresheet in 11 of his last 12 games (10-11=21).
