Anton Khudobin might be getting some additional help protecting the net this season -- from a famous house elf.
Paying homage to his nickname, the new Stars goaltender's mask this season will include an illustration of the lovable Dobby from the Harry Potter series making a slick glove save.
A little magic, too? Maybe.

In an
interview with InGoal Magazine
, the mask's creator Sylvie Marsolais of Sylabrush said Khudobin asked him to incorporate the famous three-foot character on the mask for the first time in conjunction with his nickname, "Dobby," across the chin.

It's not the mask's only unique feature. Drawn with a matte black and green base, Marsolais includes a star-lit night sky, the team's alternate state of Texas logo on the left side and Khudobin's traditional Russian phoenix on the back.
"For the graphic we went with a vintage style, the top part of the mask is a night sky with stars and shooting stars," Marsolais told InGoal Magazine. "The finish of the mask is all matte to get a more vintage look."
Khudobin, who was signed as a free agent this summer following two seasons with the Boston Bruins, will showcase the new look starting Friday at training camp in Boise, Idaho.
