FRISCO, Texas -- Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has signed forward Denis Gurianov to a one-year contract extension, which will run through the 2022-23 season. The one-year deal is worth $2,900,000.

Gurianov, 25, set new career-highs with 20 assists and 31 points (11-20=31) through 73 games in the 2021-22 season. His 31 points ranked sixth among Dallas forwards, while his 11 goals ranked seventh. He shared fourth on the team with four power-play goals and two game-winning goals.
The forward has skated in 214 career regular-season NHL games, all with Dallas, and has earned 44 goals and 50 assists for a total of 94 points. He has appeared in 32 career postseason games and has tallied 17 points (9-8=17) and 103 hits.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound native of Togliatti, Russia was originally selected by Dallas in the first round (12th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
