The Stars will open the 2018-19 regular season at home on Thursday, Oct. 4 against the Arizona Coyotes. The home schedule features a matchup against the defending Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals on Jan. 4, two contests against the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday, Dec. 20 and Saturday, March 9, the traditional New Year's Eve game on Monday, Dec. 31 against the Montreal Canadiens and one contest against every Eastern Conference opponent.
