OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced today the appointment of Erin Crowe as the organization's new executive vice-president and chief financial officer (CFO).

An Ottawa native, Crowe will officially rejoin the Senators on Feb. 1, 2022, after having previously spent a portion of her career with the organization from 1996 through 2014.
Most recently, Crowe worked with Martello Technologies, an Ottawa-based software company where she played a key role in the group's transition from a start-up to a publicly listed TSXV company. There, she was instrumental in leading various financing and acquisition transactions.
The 2009 Ottawa Women's Business Network's Corporate Businesswoman of the Year, Crowe will oversee long-term financial planning, budgeting and reporting while working closely with Senators owner and governor Eugene Melnyk and the team's executive leadership group. She replaces Gregg Olson as he returns home to his family in Portland, Ore.
Crowe graduated from Queen's University in Kingston, Ont., with a bachelor of commerce degree in 1993. She then articled with the accounting firm KPMG in Ottawa, where she obtained her chartered accountant's designation in 1994.
