The United States will face Canada at 3 p.m. ET on Friday, Dec. 29 at New Era Field in the first outdoor game in the history of the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship. It will be the teams' first meeting since the gold medal final of the 2017 World Junior Hockey Championship in Montreal, where the United States skated to a 5-4 shootout victory to claim the nation's third gold medal.

Individual tickets for the outdoor game will start between $45 and $110, and will follow the dynamic pricing model, which will allow the price of tickets to be continually adjusted throughout the on sale period to accurately reflect demand. A special presale opportunity for USA Hockey members, Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres season ticket holders, and My One Buffalo members will take place on Sept. 21 and Sept. 22. Individual tickets to the outdoor game will go on sale to the general public on Monday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m. ET.
Packages for all 31 games of the 2018 World Junior Hockey Championship are still available, along with eight- and 12-game options. Individual ticket sales for medal round games will be announced at a later date. For more information, and to purchase tickets, visit BuffaloWorldJuniors.com.
