Sharpen Up: February 28, 2017

Welcome back home, Buffalo. Following the bye week and a disappointing two-game road trip over the weekend, the Sabres will host the Nashville Predators tonight at KeyBank Center.
Dan, Rayzor and Marty will have the call on MSG. The Tops Game Night pregame show starts at 6:30 p.m. on MSG with puck drop set for 7. You can also listen to the game live on WGR 550.
Here's what you need to know.

We covered Sunday's game pretty well in yesterday's Sharpen Up so if you need a refresher, check that out. (Yesterday, we also gave you our weekly Sabres Prospects Report from Kris Baker, so that's something you should also read if you haven't already.)
Anders Nilsson started Sunday as Robin Lehner was held out for precautionary reasons after he sustained an upper-body injury in Saturday's game. Bylsma said on WGR 550 this morning that Lehner will undergo further evaluation today.
We'll find out soon what the goaltending situation looks like when the team hits the ice for the Morning Skate.
Meanwhile, if Tyler Ennis dresses in tonight's game (as he's expected to), it will be his 400th NHL game. The last two seasons have been difficult for Ennis as he's battled some injuries (we documented his recovery from a concussion in a Beyond Blue and Gold episode this year), so it's definitely great to see him approach this milestone.

Eichel has logged 21 points (6+15) in his last 20 games, including seven multi-point outings. The Sabres are 10-1-0 this season (and 19-4-0 in his career) when he has at least two points.
The Sabres are also in the midst of a long stretch against Western Conference opponents.
Tonight is the Sabres' sixth game in a seven-game stretch against Western Conference teams. Buffalo is 2-3-0 in the first five games. It is also the Sabres' seventh game in a stretch of eight straight home games against the Western Conference. The team is 3-3-0 in the first six.
Buffalo is 14-4-3 in its last 21 home games against Western Conference opponents and 12-9-2 in all games against the West this season.
The Sabres are 12-7-3 in their last 22 games against the Central Division, including a 6-2-2 record in home games.
