Estephan collects 6 points in 4 games for Lethbridge

Lethbridge Hurricanes centerman Giorgio Estephan (2015, sixth round) gathered six points in the week's four games to continue his effective two-way play for the surging Western Hockey League club.
Estephan kicked off the week Wednesday, registering two assists, including one on the game-winning goal, in the Hurricanes' 7-4 toppling of Edmonton.

Lethbridge surrendered a three-goal third-period lead Friday in a 6-5 shootout loss to Prince George, with Estephan again garnering one helper in the wild affair.

Estephan remained productive on Saturday, taking a pass from beneath the goal line and quickly beating the goaltender for the game-winning goal in a 6-5 triumph over Edmonton.
On Sunday, Estephan added two more helpers to his point total as the Hurricanes fell to Calgary 6-5 in overtime.
Estephan has points in six-straight games and 11 of his last 12. Through 42 contests, the Edmonton product has captured 22 goals and 53 points.

OHL

After notching an assist in a 5-1 win over Saginaw on Friday, Cliff Pu (2016, third round) scored a shorthanded goal and assisted on the game-winner Saturday as London again defeated the Spirit 4-3. Pu saw his five-game point streak snapped in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss at Sault Ste. Marie, leaving him with 60 points (27+33) in 39 games, which currently ranks fourth among all league skaters.
Austin Osmanski (2016, seventh round) snagged a pair of assists Friday as Mississauga dominated Sault Ste. Marie 6-2. The second-year defender, whose second multi-point game of the season was sandwiched between two steady efforts in a win over North Bay and a loss to Sudbury, has one goal and six points in 37 contests.

WHL

Brandon Hagel (2016, sixth round) remained sidelined last week while recovering from a lower-body issue. Hagel, who has now missed five games with the injury, is amidst an excellent campaign that has seen him ring up 18 goals and 39 points through 38 appearances.

Kelowna defenseman Devante Stephens (2015, fifth round) assisted on the game-winning goal with under five minutes to play Wednesday as the Rockets edged Victoria 4-3. Stephens kept it rolling on Friday, notching a goal and an assist as the Rockets again defeated the Royals, this time by a much wide 9-2 margin.
Stephens has been solid at both ends this season, scoring eight times en route to 19 points in 39 outings.
Prince Albert defenseman Vojtech Budik (2016, fifth round) started the week without any points in losses to Calgary and Red Deer, but broke out for two assists in his first multiple-point game of the year Saturday as the Raiders coughed up a four-goal lead in a 7-6 overtime loss to Regina.
Budik, who ended the week with a minus-1 rating in another loss to the Pats on Sunday, has 12 assists and a minus-17 rating in 36 games for a struggling Raiders squad that has lost 10 in a row.
Brendan Guhle (2015, second round) produced two assists in the week's three games, all victories by his Prince George Cougars. Guhle has amassed 17 points (9+8) in 32 games this season, including seven goals and six assists in 17 games since being traded to the Cougars.

QMJHL

Vasily Glotov (2016, seventh round) recorded the first two-goal game of his North American career Wednesday and added an assist to propel Cape Breton to a 7-3 win over Drummondville. Glotov with without a point in the remaining two games of the week, putting him at an even 35 points (8+27) in 41 games.

NCAA

Boston College sophomore Christopher Brown (2014, sixth round)recorded one shot on goal Friday as the Eagles were defeated by Boston University 2-1. Brown, who gone pointless in his last four games, is tied for second in team scoring with 18 points (6+12) in 24 games.
Defenseman Casey Fitzgerald (2016, third round) notched one assist in the Boston College loss to crosstown rival Boston University to snap a seven-game point drought. The second-year man has five goals and 14 points through 21 contests.
Brown forward Max Willman (2014, fifth round) produced four shots on goal in 2-1 loss to St. Lawrence Friday and recorded a team-high five shots goal Saturday as the Bears were pounded by Clarkson 7-2.
Through 17 games, Willman has buried seven goals to go along with 16 points.
Notre Dame goaltender Cal Petersen (2013, fifth round) made 21 saves in a 2-1 win at Merrimack at Friday, and made 24 stops the following night as the Fighting Irish failed to earn the conference sweep with a 4-2 loss to the Warriors.
Petersen has started every single game for Notre Dame, posting a 13-8-2 record, a 2.06 goals-against average and a .922 save percentage.
Connor Hurley (2013, second round) was unable to produce in Notre Dame's split with Merrimack, leaving the junior centerman with 16 points (4+12) through 21 appearances.
Sean Malone (2013, sixth round) contributed four shots on goal Friday in Harvard's 4-0 loss at Rensselaer, but got back on the scoresheet Saturday with one assist as the Crimson were upended by Union 2-1. Malone has an even 10 goals and 20 points through his first 16 games.
Ivan Chukarov (2015, seventh round) produced one shot on goal Saturday as Massachusetts fell to Massachusetts-Lowell 2-1. The second-year defender has four points (1+3) and healthy 47 shots on goal in 23 games.
Defenseman Will Borgen (2015, fourth round) was unable to produce any points, but maintained a strong physical presence and steady defensive play as St. Cloud State defeated Minnesota-Duluth 2-1 on Friday before falling to the Bulldogs the next night 4-3 in overtime.
The sophomore has appeared in 21 games, collecting one goal, nine points and a plus-6 rating.
St. Cloud State forward Judd Peterson (2012, seventh round) ran his point drought to six games, combining for six shots on goal and a minus-3 rating in the split with Minnesota-Duluth. Peterson's nine goals are second-most for the Huskies. He has 13 total points and 66 shots on goal in 22 games.
Anthony Florentino (2013, fifth round)logged a minus-2 rating Friday as Providence was defeated by Vermont 4-3. Florentino, who was scratched for the fourth time this season in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Catamounts, has five goals and 12 points in 18 contests.
Brett Murray (2016, fourth round) made his collegiate debut Friday, picking up one assist as Penn State earned a 5-2 triumph over Michigan State. Murray did not play on Saturday as the Nittany Lions earned the conference sweep with a 5-3 win over the Spartans.
Freshman Philip Nyberg (2016, fifth round) notched an assist for the third straight game Thursday as Connecticut doubled Maine 6-3. Nyberg was unable make it four in a row on Saturday as the Huskies dropped the tail end of the home-and-home series with a 4-0 loss at Maine. Nyberg has impressed in his first five collegiate tilts, amassing three helpers and six shots on goal.

Sweden

Rasmus Asplund (2016, second round)recorded one assist, one shot on goal and two hits Thursday as Farjestad BK defeated IF Malmo Redhawks 3-2. Asplund has 12 points (3+9) while averaging 17:00 of work in 26 contests.
Victor Olofsson (2014, seventh round) finished with a minus-2 rating in 13:08 of action Thursday as Frolunda HC was defeated by the Vaxjo Lakers HC 4-1. Through 35 games, Olofsson has eight goals, including five with the man advantage, and 18 points.
Jonas Johansson (2014, third round)stopped 27 of 30 shots Wednesday including all 12 in the final frame as Almtuna IS was edged by AIK 3-2. Johansson is 10-11 this season with a 2.05 GAA and a .918 save percentage.
Djurgardens IF winger Gustav Possler (2013, fifth round)made his season debut Thursday, playing 14:08 in a 4-3 victory over Brynas IF. Possler recorded an assist in his second game Saturday to help Djurgarden to a 3-0 win over Brynas.
