- The Rangers played on the Friday after Thanksgiving for the eighth time in the last nine seasons. In addition, New York played in the NHL Thanksgiving Showdown for the seventh time in the last nine seasons, and the seven games have been on the road against either Boston or Philadelphia. The Blueshirts played a game broadcasted on ABC for the first time since March 2004.

  • Artemi Panarin tallied his sixth multi-point game of the season with his team-lead tying 16th assist, and fifth goal of the season. Panarin has five assists in his last five games and his 21 points this season are the most on the Rangers. Against Boston, Panarin has points in six of his last seven games (1G-7A) and eight of 10 games (2G-8A). In total, Panarin has at least one point in 10 of his 16 career matchups with the Bruins.
  • Ryan Strome extended his point streak to eight games (2G-8A) with his third goal of the season, before adding his 13th assist of the year. Strome's eight-game point streak is tied for the second longest of his career (11 - Mar. 13-Apr. 1, 2021, 8 - Feb. 9-22, 2020). Strome has a point in 12 of his 16 games this season and his 14 points (3G-11A) are the fifth most on New York.
  • Adam Fox notched two assists, giving him a team-leading 16 assists this season and 21 points on the year, the most among NHL defensemen. Fox became the first Rangers defenseman since Brian Leetch (2000-01) to hit the 21-point mark by his 20th game of the season. Fox has five assists in his last three games. Fox is one of eight defensemen in NHL history have recorded 93 or more assists through the first 145 games of his career. Of those eight, five are in the Hockey Hall of Fame. In addition, Fox registered five blocked shots, tied for the second most in his career.
  • Igor Shesterkin won his 11th game of the season, making 34 saves on 36 shots. Shesterkin has earned wins in six of his last seven games. On the road, Shesterkin's seven wins are tied for the most in the NHL with Frederik Andersen. Shesterkin is the first Rangers goaltender since Henrik Lundqvist in 2015-16 to have 11 wins through the first 20 games of the team's season.
  • Dryden Hunt recorded his third-career multi-point game (1G-1A) and first since March 28, 2019 at Ottawa while he was with Florida. Hunt has three points in his last four games (2G-1A).
  • Julien Gauthier registered his second career multi-point game of his career with two assists. Gauthier has three points (1G-2A) in his last five games.
  • Alexis Lafreniére scored his fifth goal of the season to pull into a tie for the second-most on the Rangers.
  • Ryan Lindgren tallied his second assist of the season and has one goal and one assist in his last three games. Lindgren was selected by the Bruins in the second round (49th overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
  • Jacob Trouba sealed the game with an empty-net goal, his third goal of the season. Trouba has goals in two of his last three games. Trouba led the Rangers today with five shots on goal.
