Black Music Heritage Night: Tuesday, Jan. 20

Celebrate the musical influences of the Black community with the third Music Heritage Night of the season. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive an exclusive collectible poster commemorating the celebration.

This year’s Black Music Heritage Night will include a Music Heritage Showcase presented by Nissan and curated by the National Museum of African American MusicĀ in the main atrium! Performer announcement coming soon!

Visit six exhibits curatedĀ by NMAAM throughout the concourse. Fill in your Musical Passport with stamps and bring to the redemption station for free tickets to the National Museum of African American Music!

Nashville Black Market

In partnership with Nissan, Nashville Black Market vendors will be located on the Bridgestone Arena concourse on Black Music Heritage Night, promoting local black-owned businesses. Nashville Black Market vendors will also be in attendance on Feb. 2, Feb. 4 and Feb. 26.

Fans can also visit vendors and support the Nashville Black Market at the Black History Expo from Feb. 28 to March 1 at the Fairgrounds Nashville.

Meet the logo artist

Elisheba Israel Mrozik

Elisheba Israel Mrozik is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist, muralist, and cultural leader based in Nashville, Tennessee. A Memphis native with a BFA in Computer Arts from the Memphis College of Art, her practice centers Black identity, ancestral memory, and community storytelling through fine art, tattooing, and large-scale public installations. She is the first licensed Black tattoo artist in Middle Tennessee and founder of One Drop Ink Tattoo Parlour. Her public art experience includes commissions and collaborations with Metro Arts Nashville, Vanderbilt University, WeGo Transit, Pinnacle Bank, The Frist Art Museum, and Metro Nashville Public Schools. In 2025, her Z. Alexander Looby Library Mural was installed and dedicated in North Nashville and named ā€œBest Mural in Nashvilleā€ by the Nashville Scene. She also serves as President of the North Nashville Arts Coalition, where she advocates for equitable access and opportunity for BIPOC artists. Through her company QueenBee Ink, LLC, Elisheba continues to create transformative public art that honors Black legacy and reclaims public space as a site of belonging and cultural pride.
