Sam Gagner gave his stick to Jack Armstrong on Tuesday, and Armstrong did the polite thing Wednesday and said thank you.

The Minnesota Wild fan posted a video thanking the Vancouver Canucks forward for giving him his stick after warmups before Minnesota's game against Vancouver.

Clad in a Wild jersey, Armstrong was begging members of the Canucks for their sticks before the game at XCel Energy Center, and Gagner rewarded the boy for his persistence. The clip went viral, mostly because of Armstrong's stunned reaction after receiving the stick.

Gagner, who is in his first season with the Canucks, saw the thank-you video and classily sent his best to the boy.
