The Vancouver Public Library wasn't going to let a challenge go unanswered.

The library fired up Vancouver Canucks fans and participated in the Book Spine Challenge, chreating a clever Canucks-themed poem from books ahead of Game 5 of the Western Conference First Round between the Canucks and St. Louis Blues.

The St. Louis Public Library issued the challenge by creating some Blues-themed book-spine poetry ahead of the pivotal Stanley Cup Playoff game.

The Vancouver library answered the call by stacking nine books whose titles made the sentence "Game on! Get ready to learn 100 ways to beat the blues. Worried? Not quite us. The Vancouver Canucks will beat the Blues."

Sure enough, Vancouver's message was correct. The Canucks rallied from 3-1 down to claim a 4-3 victory and a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.
