Ovi with 930 club owners

Alex Ovechkin scored his 930th career NHL goal on Sunday, and the famous 9:30 Club music venue was right there to celebrate with him.

The historic Washington D.C. music venue offered the NHL’s all-time leading goal scorer free shows for life after Ovi joined the 930 goals club.

Owners of the club, Sam and Seth Hurwitz, joined Ovechkin and Washington Capitals owners Lynn and Ted Leonsis after Sunday’s game to deliver the golden ticket.

The venue’s social media team was quick to congratulate Ovechkin for the uncharted milestone after his score.

The music venue opened its doors in 1980 and was named one of the 10 best live music venues in the United States by Rolling Stone in 2018. They’ve hosted big names such as Bob Dylan, Red Hot Chili Peppers, O.A.R and more.
