MacKinnon with Jelly Roll edit

Nathan MacKinnon had a gift for singer Jelly Roll after his show on Sunday in Denver.

The Colorado Avalache forward met with the Grammy Award-nominated singer after his concert at Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday and gave him a signed jersey with a special message.

On the No. 29 Avalanche jersey, MacKinnon wrote, “To Jelly, Keep lifting everyone up!”

Jelly Roll is known for his inspirational music, with hit songs like “Need a Favor,” “Save Me,” and “I Am Not Okay.”

He is currently touring with Post Malone.
