Vegas trick or treat

Jack Eichel and his buddies got their spook on during Thursday’s practice.

The Vegas Golden Knights forward hosted kids from Best Buddies Nevada, an organization that supports those with intellectual and development disabilities, at the team’s practice.

The kids sported their Halloween costume as they watched the Golden Knights run through drills.

After practice, Eichel and some of his teammates threw on their own costumes and handed out candy to the kids.

Eichel sported a clown costume, Jonathan Marchessault dressed as a taco, Mark Stone threw on a dinosaur onesie, Adin Hill wore a frog onesie and Brayden McNabb rocked a skeleton suit.

To end the day, Eichel made a $40,000 donation to Best Buddies Nevada. The group then sung “Happy Birthday” to the veteran forward, whose birthday is on Saturday, and brought out a cake.

It sure was a treat of a day in Las Vegas.
