Status report

Blues forward Troy Brouwer was assigned to San Antonio of the American Hockey League on Monday after clearing waivers, but general manager Doug Armstrong said he would give Brouwer the week "to consider his options." Defenseman Niko Mikkola was reassigned to San Antonio on Jan. 18.
