Longtime Blues anthem singer Charles Glenn performed the "Star-Spangled Banner" ahead of Game 3 against the Colorado Avalanche on Friday.
Glenn, the veteran performer who retired in 2019 after the Blues magical run to the Stanley Cup title, returned to Enterprise Center sounding like he never left.
Fans in attendance gave him a rousing ovation after he was announced to the crowd in what was seemingly a surprise move.
His Game 3 performance was just the second time Glenn broke his retirement. The first was for the
2020 NHL All Star Game last January
which was held in St. Louis.
Both times he performed post-retirement, Glenn not only brought the house down, he did it while wearing the easily-identifiable 2019 Stanley Cup championship ring that the team gifted to him on his right hand.
