The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has signed goaltender Adam Wilcox to a one-year, two-way contract.

Wilcox (6'0", 189 lbs., 11/26/1992) combined to play 47 AHL games for the Syracuse Crunch and the Springfield Falcons last season, posting a 25-13-7 record with a .906 save percentage and a 2.63 goals-against average. A sixth-round pick (178th overall) in the 2011 NHL Draft, Wilcox has compiled a 34-27-15 record with a .900 save percentage and a 2.90 goals-against average in 76 career AHL games.
Before turning pro, the St. Paul, Minnesota native played three seasons for the University of Minnesota (Big Ten), where he was named the Big Ten Player of the Year in 2013-14 and backstopped the Gophers to two Big Ten regular-season titles and one Big Ten Tournament title.
