Fans striking a pose in the Nashville Predators' new "Smashbooth, powered by Subbanator" not only will help out two great causes, but they might get a few surprises too.
This season, the Predators teamed with defenseman P.K. Subban and his foundation to bring a photo booth to the plaza level of Bridgestone Arena for home games and other team events. Subban and teammates Filip Forsberg and Anthony Bitetto got the booth rolling with a set of snapshots.
For $1 fans get a strip of three photos. For $3 they can share the photos to social media. And for $5 they can get a 3-inch-by-5-inch picture. The proceeds will be split evenly between Subban's foundation and the team's foundations.

Fans who take pictures in the Smashbooth are encouraged to share the photos online using the hashtags #pkapproved and #smashbooth. Subban announced on his Instagram account that he'll pick his favorite from the Predators' home opener Friday and the winner will win a team-signed puck.
The Predators also plan to have other players on the team interact with the Smashbooth and maybe even pop in for a photobomb.
