Detroit's sports legends came out to the ballpark for a special Opening Day on Thursday.
Nicklas Lidstrom was one of Detroit's icons who threw out the ceremonial first pitch during the Detroit Tigers Opening Day against the Boston Red Sox at Comerica Park. The retired Detroit Red Wings captain joined former Detroit Pistons center Ben Wallace, former Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson Jr. and Tigers infielder Miguel Cabrera for the special ceremony.
