For the second straight year, the NHL is accepting applications for NHL Power Players, a youth advisory board that brings together young fans to help advise the League on hockey-related topics important to their generation.

Hockey fans ages 13-17 who live in the United States and Canada are eligible and can apply
here
. The deadline for applying is Sept. 25.
Applicants should have access to the internet, video call capabilities and email. A social media profile is helpful but not mandatory.
The young fans selected for NHL Power Players will participate in meetings conducted remotely throughout the year to provide honest and impartial feedback, suggestions and opinions to the League on a variety of topics. The goal of the program is to increase fandom in youth 17 and under.
"With last year's success of NHL Power Players, we're thrilled to open up applications for the second year with a goal of attracting young hockey fans to the NHL," chief marketing officer Heidi Browning said. "NHL Power Players is a unique and engaging way for the League to immerse the next generation of hockey fans into our sport while utilizing their feedback to create thoughtful change in marketing our game."
Benefits to joining NHL Power Players include the opportunity to be featured in League marketing, exclusive NHL Power Players merchandise and a certificate of completion. Fans chosen for the board will be announced prior to the 2020-21 NHL season.
