The Wild, 4-0-0 in the second of back-to-backs, lost 3-2 to the Buffalo Sabres at Xcel Energy Center on Saturday. Minnesota is 11-3-0 in its past 14 games and has allowed two goals or fewer in four of its past five games.
The Blackhawks, who lost 2-1 in a shootout to the Los Angeles Kings on Friday, will try for their second win under new coach Jeremy Colliton. They are 1-2-2 since he replaced Joel Quenneville on Nov. 6.
Chicago is 1-6-3 in its past 10 games and has allowed at least four goals in five of its past eight games.

Players to watch

Goaltender Alex Stalock is scheduled to start for the Wild. He's won his past three starts and has a 2.61 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage since Oct. 20. All three of the wins have come in the second of back-to-back games
Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane, who turns 30 on Sunday, has 15 points (seven goals, eight assists) in his past 13 games.
