Eddie Lack dedicates shutout to love and equality

On You Can Play Night in Carolina, goalie is perfect on the ice

Carolina Hurricanes goalie Eddie Lack had a few shoutouts following his shutout. Namely love and equality for all.

Lack, using a rainbow-taped goalie stick during Hockey Is For Everyone month, made 34 saves in a
3-0 win against the Ottawa Senators
Friday, then he made a statement.
The veteran wrote: "This was a night I'll never forget. I'd like to dedicate this shutout to love, equality and togetherness. #YouCanPlay #HockeyIsForEveryone"

It was You Can Play Night in Carolina. The You Can Play project works to ensure the safety and inclusion of all people in sports, including the LGBTQ community.
Hockey is for Everyone is an NHL initiative that uses the game and the League's global influence to drive positive social chance and foster more inclusive communities.
