The Sharks lead the Ducks 3-0 in their best-of-7 series with Game 4 on Wednesday (10:30 p.m. ET; GOLF, SN1, TVAS2, NBCSCA, PRIME).
Reilly Smith led the Golden Knights with three points (all assists) in the series. Marc-Andre Fleury was 4-0 with two shutouts and a 0.65 goals-against average and .977 save percentage.
"Why would we be satisfied? I mean, we don't have the Stanley Cup," Golden Knights forward Pierre-Edouard Bellemare said. "We didn't start the playoffs thinking, 'All right, if we reach the second round, we're happy about it.' Guys are really excited because we just won a series. We're excited because we're probably going to get one more day to relax the bodies. But I mean, two days from now, it's back to business."
Vegas went 3-0-1 against San Jose during the regular season. Jonathan Marchessault had six points (two goals, four assists), and Shea Theodore (two goals, three assists) and forward William Karlsson (four goals, one assist) each had five. Fleury was 2-0-0 with a 2.50 GAA and .928 save percentage, and backup Malcolm Subban made 42 saves in a 2-1 overtime loss March 22.
