"Winner-take-all in Game 7," Vegas coach Gerard Gallant said. "You get ready to play. You forget about tonight. It's over with now, and you move on and get ready for the next one. We played a heck of a game tonight. I'm proud of our guys.
"It wasn't our night, but there is still another day for us, fortunately. We will get ready for Game 7 and be ready to go."
The Golden Knights outshot the Sharks 59-29 in Game 6, including 44-20 through the third period.
"We're confident in the group we have here," said forward Jonathan Marchessault, who tied it 1-1 at 11:20 of the second period and has scored in three consecutive games. "We're a confident group and a great hockey team. Just have to keep going and stick with it. I think if we keep playing the right way, like we did tonight, I think we'll get rewarded."
