-- The Golden Knights are a different team at home vs on the road. Vegas is 10-3-1 on home ice, but are 7-11-0 off The Strip.
-- Jonathan Marchessault and William Karlsson co-lead the Golden Knights with 23 points apiece.
-- Paul Stastny practiced with the Golden Knights on Tuesday and reportedly could return to the lineup against the Islanders on Wednesday. Stastny has been sidelined since Oct. 8 with a lower-body injury, only playing three games with Vegas after signing as a free agent over the summer. UPDATE: Stastny is a game-time decision.
- Marc-Andre Fleury will start for Vegas. Fleury is 17-10-1 with a 2.51 GAA, a .908 SV% and a league-leading five shutouts.
