David Warsofsky, Sven Andrighetto and Sergei Boikov scored for Colorado. Duchene scored at 5:56 of the third period to make it 5-0. Roope Hintz scored for Dallas at 11:06 to make it 5-1. Semyon Varlamov made 21 saves for the Avalanche. Kari Lehtonen made 16 saves on 20 shots though the second period, and Landon Bow had seven saves in relief for the Stars.
