Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Curtis McElhinney will have arthroscopic knee surgery Monday and will be sidelined the remainder of the season, the team announced Saturday.
McElhinney, 32, was injured during practice Friday. He is 2-7-3 with a 3.31 goals-against average and .890 save percentage in 18 games this season.

Goaltender Joonas Korpisalo on Saturday was recalled from Lake Erie of the American Hockey League on an emergency basis to serve as backup to Sergei Bobrovsky against the New Jersey Devils (7 p.m. ET; MSG+ 2, FS-O, NHL.TV).
Korpisalo, 21, is 14-8-4 with a 2.63 GAA and .918 save percentage in 26 games with the Blue Jackets this season.
