Because breakfast is the most important meal of the day, Chris Kunitz and his family started their fourth time with the Stanley Cup by eating cereal out of the famed trophy.

At their home in Pittsburgh, Kunitz also took the Cup and posed with his children Zachary, Payton and Aubrey, who each hoisted a child-sized version of the trophy to commemorate his number of championship celebrations. They ate Lucky Charms out of the bowl.
"We don't usually buy Lucky Charms, but we figured fourth time is the charm, so we figured we'd let them eat something they don't usually eat on a normal basis," Kunitz told reporters in Tampa on Thursday. He signed a one-year contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning on July 1.

His family had a pool party and he assured it did not end up at the bottom of the pool.
"Maybe if you're the owner or the captain you can get away with that," he said. "The rest of the guys, not so much."
The party ended up carrying some extra significance for the family given the move south.
"We had a pool party with kids and their friends which also turned out to be a good-bye party," Kunitz said. "It was a really nice day. A lot of good pictures and a closing of a chapter."
Kunitz, who won three championships in nine seasons with Pittsburgh and also was a member of the 2007 Anaheim Ducks championship team.
