Scott Darling made 28 saves for the Carolina Hurricanes in a 4-1 win against the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena.

Warren Foegele had a goal and an assist for Carolina, which outshot Nashville 14-4 in the first period. Brett Pesce, Trevor van Riemsdyk and Brock McGinn also scored.
Ryan Johansen ended Darling's shutout with 6:53 remaining. Predators goalie Pekka Rinne allowed four goals on 42 shots
