ARI@MIN: Kaprizov turns around, fires shot far side

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Kirill Kaprizov had a goal and an assist for the Minnesota Wild, who won their fourth straight game with a 5-2 victory against the Arizona Coyotes at Xcel Energy Center on Tuesday.

Kaprizov leads the NHL in scoring with 14 points (four goals, 10 assists) in seven games since Nov. 18.
Jordan Greenway had a goal and two assists, Jonas Brodin had a goal and an assist, and Ryan Hartman had two assists for Minnesota (15-6-1). Kaapo Kahkonen made 29 saves.
"I think the depth is the best," Wild coach Dean Evason said. "We're not teaching, we're not coaching any differently. I just think that we've got some depth scoring that everybody's producing. They're all for the most part playing the right way and the same way, and if we do that, we feel that we'll be able to score goals.
"It's not one line, it's not two guys, it's not one defenseman. Everybody's involved in the offense. That's what we like, and it's more fun to play that way."

ARI@MIN: Keller's turn-around shot goes far side

Clayton Keller had a goal and an assist, and Scott Wedgewood made 32 saves for Arizona (5-16-2), which was coming off a 1-0 win at the Winnipeg Jets on Monday.
"I think for a big part of the game we played good," Coyotes coach Andre Tourigny said. "I think their trademark on the other side is their play around the net. They are really good at putting traffic in front of the net, really good at finding pucks. We knew that was a way to beat us.
"At the same time, we really did a lot. There's a lot of positives in that game."
Keller gave the Coyotes a 1-0 lead at 5:58 of the first period, taking a pass from Phil Kessel and scoring with a turnaround shot through the legs of Wild defenseman Jon Merrill.

ARI@MIN: Eriksson Ek crashes net, cashes in rebound

Joel Eriksson Ek tied it 1-1 at 7:06 when he shot into an open net after Dmitry Kulikov lost control of the puck in front.
Kaprizov gave Minnesota a 2-1 lead at 7:20 of the second period with a shot from the point that deflected in off the stick of Ilya Lyubushkin.
Greenway scored his first of the season on a redirection of Merrill's shot to extend the lead to 3-1 at 14:19. Brodin then made it 4-1 with four seconds left in the period with a slap shot from the right point following a face-off win by Hartman.
"It was a tough period to let those two goals in, especially the last one off the face-off there with [four] seconds left," Coyotes defenseman Anton Stralman said. "That's another structure thing that we have to clean up and another detail that we let ourselves down on."
Stralman cut it to 4-2 with a one-timer at 5:58 of the third period, but Marcus Foligno made it 5-2 at 7:42 with a backhand near the right post after Brodin's initial shot ricocheted off the end boards.
"I think we've been playing well," Greenway said. "… We've been playing well enough to be at the top of leaderboard (in the Central Division), so yeah, I think that's where we should be and that's where we should stay for a while."
NOTES:The Wild played without forward Frederick Gaudreau, who entered NHL COVID-19 protocol before the game. … Minnesota has outscored its opponents 23-7 in its past four home games. … Keller has scored nine points (three goals, six assists) in his past seven games. … Hartman has scored 16 points (10 goals, six assists) in his past 16 games.
